She can do if she wants to.
She will do what she wants to.
Tell her what you have to say.
But tell her not what to do.
She can do if she wants to.
She will do what she wants to.
Tell her what you have to say.
But tell her not what to do.
So much fuss but would not eat.
Just little milk but still cheat.
Jumping on the bed all time.
Or in bath her favourite treat.
Now at the crossroads you stand.
Unsure in a foreign land.
But whichever path you choose-
we will always hold your hand.
To the crowd she shows she shies.
Mischief well hid in her eye.
She knows her mind. knows her strengths.
My funny crawler now flies.
I have walked in others’ shoes
for my needs were too many.
Despite their colours and woos
I did not fit in any.
Some worn out from long journeys.
Some shined bright with a new hope,
Some chased the scent of money.
Some I wore though could not cope.
Tired to race. to track and trace-
now I need one strongly laced.
I try to control my tears
so they show not on the face,
But somewhere else they appear-
with double strength make a case.
Then all my act not enough
to make myself not look weak.
I play along with this bluff
for I know not what I seek.
Hard I try to make drops stop-
harder it becomes to mop.
