If Only

How fair the air we inhale

if the truth hides in the wind.

For what bad weather we wail

if the cycle is un-spinned.

Law defers to colours donned,

and unequal voices cease.

Why this king we look upon

whose fury pieces the peace.

The clock has chimed-choose and cast-

live under one flag and caste.
