Glass

Face the chink now echoes glass.
Blur seems while truth shows.
Gaze cannot eye tho unveils mask.
Stir memories gross.

Thug

Sparkling eyes pop me awake.
Laughters echo in my mind.
Every breath her name intakes
longs for the clock to rewind.
Soul seeks those lips fiery.
Her breath engulfs, surreal.
The touch now imagery-
limbs quiver for the real.
Steal me away you old thug.
Enwrap me in your love-hug.

Hopscotch

Pearls of laughter reverberated across the ground.
A pebble floated and twirled, and then clunked on the ground.
A girl spiralled in the air and landed on a square.
Children oohed - her ponytail bounced, and her smile profound.

The Moon Walk

The full moon unfolded its golden wings,
and tickled her ever so shining face.
The long languorous yawns blurred her musings,
but she shook away the nocturnal haze.
The tidings of the sea beckoned her soul.
Pearly waves rolled and unrolled with new sounds.
Along the shore with just her thoughts she strolled.
The sand caressed - reveries knew no bounds.
A boat waltzed to the rhythm of her steps -
they seemed wanting to splat across the beach.
Purple shells lay scattered from ocean’s depths -
told tales that only her ears could reach.
Her mind buzzed but words remained unspoken.
Her footprints firm - the silence unbroken.

Swaminarayan Temple - Bhuj

The white marble pillars stand.
Ooze warmth - by touch icy cold.
Chiseled with magical hand.
Tales engraved of history old.
Heaven-high shine the gold domes,
like descendants of the sun.
And the bells toll, echoes roam,
alluring far horizon.
Sculptor charms the creator.
Sculpture is the narrator.

Hyena

The evil lurked in the dark
as its hunger pangs grumbled.
The intent -  brutal and stark.
The laugh  - foxy preamble.
It limped away through a bush,
scenting and stalking its prey.
Skilled to create an ambush,
swift with razored teeth to slay.
Fooled not be by gait so slack.
Whistle could bring in its pack.

White Desert - Bhuj

The sun takes its golden dip.
Full moon splashes snowy glow.
Spellbound by the artist’s grip.
The cold winds whistle and blow.
Deep, beyond the vastness spread.
Shrouded by a salt carpet.
The pinch of the desert’s bed -
offers to tickle us wet.
Cheers echo as mugs clink.
Our silhouettes watch us drink.
